How can I make a principal-only payment online from a CBNA account? Will this affect my regular monthly payment?
You can use the following steps to make a principal-only payment from your CBNA account:
- Log in to Online Banking or the mobile app
- Select Transfers from the dashboard or left side navigation menu
- Click/tap Make a transfer
- Select the From and To accounts
- Please note that external transfers cannot be used to make principal-only payments
- Enter the amount you want to pay on the principal
- For Type, change from Regular to Principal
- Click/tap Submit
That's it! The system will display a message that the Transfer has been submitted.
This will not affect your regular monthly payment; it will still be due on the due date.
