How do I set up to use Pay a Person?

Follow the steps to set up a Pay A Person through enhanced bill pay:

  1. Log in to Online Banking and click on Payments link on left hand side.
  2. On right hand side click on Enhanced Bill Pay.
  3. Click on payees
  4. Click on the +payee
  5. Click pay a person on the bottom
  6. If you know the account and routing number you can select pay a person with direct deposit.
  7. If you know the mailing address but not the account number you can select to pay via check.
  8. If you don’t know either you can select to pay a person via email. This will have you enter the payee’s email address and a phone number. Then you will click next and create a keyword to be provided to the payee by you.
  9. Will require you to do a onetime payee for activation.
  10. The payee will receive an email with a link for them to enter their account and routing number along with the keyword your created.

Follow these steps to set up Pay A Person in Bill Pay

  1. Log in to Online Banking and click on Payments link on left hand side.
  2. At the top click + New payee and chose Person.
  3. If you know the account and routing number you can select pay a person with direct deposit.  This will require you to do a onetime verification for activation of payee.
  4. If you know the mailing address but not the account number you can select to pay via check.
  5. If you don’t know either you can select to pay a person via email. This will have you enter the payee’s email address and a phone number. Then you will click next and create a keyword to be provided to the payee by you.
  6. Will require you to do a onetime verification for activation of payee.
  7. The payee will receive an email with a link for them to enter their account and routing number along with the keyword your created.
