How do I request money with Zelle®?

You can request money with Zelle® from people with a bank account in the U.S.

NOTE: Recipients may modify, reject, or ignore your request. In addition, requests are subject to the recipient's financial institution's send limits.

From Online Banking1:

  1. Log in to Online Banking
  2. On the dashboard click on Send money with Zelle
  3. Click Request under Send Money with Zelle
  4. Select your recipient2
  5. Enter the amount you want to request from your recipient. You can also select the checking account where you want the amount to be deposited. Click on Review.
  6. Review the information which includes the amount you requested and the information for the recipient. You can also enter any memo notes for this payment. Click on the Request $[amount] button.
  7. System will display a message about your request and will also display the confirmation # for this request. Click on Done.
  8. Under Request tab which is listed under Activity you will be able to see your request.

From the Mobile App1:

  1. On the dashboard click on Send money with Zelle
  2. Click Send Money
  3. Click Request
  4. Select your recipient2
  5. Enter the amount you want to request from your recipient. You can also select the checking account where you want the amount to be deposited. Click on Review.
  6. Review the information which includes the amount you requested and the information for the recipient. You can also enter any memo notes for this request. Click on the Request $[amount] button.
  7. System will display message about your request and will also display the confirmation # for this request. Click on Done.
  8. Click on the Request tab which is listed under Activity you will be able to see your request.
