How do I place a stop payment on a check?

Follow the steps below to place a stop payment:

1. Log in to Online Banking
2. Select your checking account from your Dashboard or Accounts page
3. Click the Stop Payments widget
4. Click +Add another stop payment
5. Choose whether you need to stop a single check or a range of checks
6. Fill in the required fields and click Submit

A stop payment cannot be placed on a debit card transaction, please call our Customer Care Center at 866-764-8638 to file a dispute.

If you need to place a stop payment on a pre-authorized (ACH) electronic transaction, please contact your local branch office.
