How do I get my lien release from my vehicle loan?
Lien releases are mailed within 12 business days from the date the loan was paid in full. If the loan is paid with cash or wired funds, the lien release can be issued the same day by your local branch or by calling Loan Customer Service at 1-866-764-8638.
If you’ve misplaced your lien release and your address on file is correct, contact Loan Customer Service at 1-866-764-8638 to have a duplicate mailed to the same address.
If you need the lien release mailed to a different address than what we have on file, please submit your request in writing, signed by all borrowers, and include the VIN. Written requests can be:
•Brought into a local branch
•Faxed to 716-376-7223
•Emailed (signed request) to corpcom@cbna.com
•Mailed to Community Bank, N.A., Loan Operations, PO Box 628, Olean, NY 14760-0628
If you are a third party (buyer, dealership, or another institution), lien release requests must be submitted in writing. We require a copy of the title (front and back) signed by the borrower(s)/owner(s). If a title is not yet available, a Bill of Sale will work, provided it is signed by all borrowers and includes the VIN. Written requests can be:
