How do I delete or stop a bill payment?
Follow the steps to delete or stop a payment in enhanced Bill Pay using Online Banking:
- Log in to Online Banking and click on Payments link on left hand side.
- On right hand side click on Enhanced Bill Pay
- On Payments page below the list of Payees you will see a button called View pending transactions.
- Click View Pending transactions
- Select the payment you want to delete
- Click the three dots (…) next to the name of the payee.
- You will be able to see current payment details
- Click on Edit
- Select the option “I would like to stop this payment”
- Click on Submit to stop this payment
Or you may follow these steps to delete or stop a payment in Bill Pay using Online Banking
- Log in to Online Banking and click on Payments link on left hand side.
- On left hand side click History under Payments
- Scroll down the list to find the payment you want to edit
- Click on the name of the payee you want to edit the payment for.
- Click on Edit
- Then on top right hand side click the
to delete the payment
- System will prompt a message to confirm you want to stop the payment
- Click “Yes” and payment will be stopped
Follow the steps to delete or stop a payment using Mobile Banking
- Login to Mobile Banking
- Click on hamburger menu
- Click on Payments
- Click on Activity
- Scroll down the list to find the payment
- Click on the name of the payee you want to delete or stop the payment for.
- Click on Delete option
- System will prompt a message to confirm you want to delete the payment
- Click “Delete” and payment will be deleted
